Terms of Service

1. About these terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern any tour, workshop, or concierge service ("Services") you book with Ayfer Demirkıran, an independent licensed tour guide based in Istanbul, Türkiye ("the Guide", "we", "us"). By booking a Service, you agree to these Terms.

2. Booking and confirmation

Bookings are confirmed once dates, itinerary, price have been agreed and full payment is made. A booking is binding only after written confirmation from the Guide.

3. Prices and payment

Prices are quoted per tour or per group as agreed in writing. Unless stated otherwise, prices include the Guide's professional fee but exclude entrance tickets, food, transportation, and third-party services. Payment terms (balance, method) are confirmed in writing for each booking.

Payment deadline: If the tour date is more than 15 days away, the payment confirmation must reach us within 7 days of the booking. If the tour date is 15 days away or less, the payment confirmation must reach us within 2 days of the booking. Bookings without a payment confirmation received within these windows will be cancelled automatically.

4. Your responsibilities

• Arriving on time at the agreed meeting point.
• Carrying valid identification and any required entrance tickets.
• Ensuring you are medically and physically able to take part.
• Behaving respectfully toward cultural and religious sites.
• Holding appropriate travel insurance.

5. Changes to the itinerary

The Guide may adjust the itinerary on the day for reasons including weather, site closures, crowd levels, or your wellbeing. Reasonable alternatives will be offered.

6. Liability

The Guide acts as an independent professional and is not liable for damages caused by third parties (restaurants, transport providers, museums, workshops) or by circumstances outside her reasonable control. The Guide's total liability for any claim is limited to the amount paid for the Service in question. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death, personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

7. Cancellations

Cancellations are handled under our separate Cancellation Policy.

8. Privacy

Personal data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Istanbul, without prejudice to your statutory consumer rights under EU or other applicable law.
